Giving back
Have you ever wanted to volunteer at a Nursing Home but have never been clear on how to go about doing it? Or are you a member of a society who are always seeking ways to serve anyone in any way? Or maybe you seek redemption for memories of a loved one who has passed on?

Whatever your reasons are, you are always welcome to come over to our homes to help out and spread joy to our residents. While we are open to all sort of activities and events, we would also like to remind potential volunteers that you would need to ensure that your plans have been reviewed by the Management to ensure that it is compliant with our rules and regulations, and would not cause any hurt or trauma to our residents, mentally or physically.

We have, over the years, hosted volunteers who came and provided service in many different ways, and we are always grateful for any service that anyone would like to offer. Among the Volunteering services that you could consider offering are:

But most of the time, all that our clients want, is company. They enjoy interacting with others, and love it when new faces come to visit. You could just plan a visit in a group, have breakfast or tea with them, then continue with a karaoke session, play board games, or just sit with them and listen to their stories. You will never stop being amazed at the stories they have to share, and it makes them feel better too. You can come during popular celebrations like Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali, Christmas, Naw-Ruz' or New years. You could even celebrate your birthday here!

At the end of the day, it is the thought that counts. Any Volunteer work, big or small, will be cherished and appreciated, we will always be grateful for the time and energy that volunteers spend.
